Love this place as I have a love of working with steel . The staff are great and more than helpful in fact whilst awaiting confirmation from them as having in stock what I required I had a great chat to the counter attendant which made my waiting time very pleasant . Cant wait to visit there again .

Having recently started a small fabrication workshop I searched to find a steel supplier. I've tried a few but none of them can match these guys for price and service. I have been dealing with Nev who is always a great guy to speak to and has helped me with many steel orders. Quality of product is fantastic and they have a rapid turn around. I'd recommend trying Di Candilo, you won't regret it.

Never been let down with these guys and girls. A truly great team of people who actually care about their customers, peers and products. Their stock levels, selection and pricing are hard to beat. Great, modern processing facilities, easy to find and get in and out of with a vehicle. High level attention to detail and good safety culture. Definitely worth the visit for any metal project. We have used Di Candilo as our go to steel suppliers for years for all our workshop fabrication materials including cut & uncut lengths, laser and plasma cutting as well as bending and supply of cast elbows for pipework.Kate Watson is my usual sales rep and always goes above and beyond to make sure our orders are correct and delivered promptly to our workshop. She is very pleasant, professional and easy to deal with.Would definitely recommend these guys if you're a fabricator.

I am a amateur car restorer and went to candillo to buy the steel for building my car rotisserie. Spoke with waz who was helpful on the quote and they even took me out into the warehouse to check I was purchasing the right steel. Had them deliver it too which went smoothly, chose a day and it was delivered, easy as. price was better than the other quotes I got. Will use them again for sure

Edit: Found cheaper ! Still a good place but Total Steel flog them on price.Great place to go for any type of metal project.The other metal shops like Midalia make you buy whole lengths even if you only want a meter or 2.They also have a large range AND let you walk in and look at the racks to get the sizes you want. (Steel caps and ear plugs recommended)Been going to this mob for many years now and can't rate them highly enough.

Friendly helpful staff.Apart from one young chap that didn't know what he was selling.Fair enough if he was filling in or still learning.I'm a dumb woman and know the difference between a length of flat bar or a length of angle steel.
